2015 EDITION
The number 4 is the symbol of the construction, the realization, the concrete and the stability. So many qualities shared with this 4th edition of the “Dances in Kerhervy” festival.
Born from a long work started in 2009 with the 1st edition, the harvest of this year was intense, filled with a lot of emotions.
First, the weather was more than warm and very sunny. Four days of sun in front of the Blavet and the “Ship’s Graveyard”, bringing a poetic touch, full of sweetness. Four days during which this outstanding place saw being born and living, meeting, exchange and sharing through the workshops in daytime, led by invited choreographers.
A new workshop this year, with the Yoga, which took place early in the morning in front of the rising sun and on stage. An assured zenitude for a good day’s start.
The public, always faithful and generous and mostly, more and more numerous could discover this year 21 productions with 6 of them from professionals Companies and 15 of them from non - professional Companies, with a programming always rich and abundant.
The “Enkas dansés” came to punctuate dining aperitif with another novelty: a Jazz concert !
We do not forget the modern and funky balls during which, the spontaneous participation of the viewers was a joyful moment of connection and unity.
Rose and her team were once again cooking for the whole festival with, as always, a delicious, generous and fair cooking.
Such event often holds on few things. With the team of volunteers always motivated and full of enthusiasm, a technical team on the gas, the members of the Eskemm Company, Marie, our Civic Service as well as the two choreographers, the organization, the reception and the progress of the festival were flowing freely.
As a matter of fact, a festival which runs, which finds its rhythm and which anchors itself in the landscape of summer festivals...
That’s why, a huge thank you to all of you, to our supports, the Brittany Region, the Departmental Council of the Morbihan, the City of Lanester, and thanks to you, the public, without who this festival would not exist.
See you in two years...!
Eskemmly yours,
The Eskemm Company
